Samaritan Ark Global Foundation Holds Peace-Building Meeting in Sokoto State
Samaritan Ark Global Foundation recently convened a Peace-Building Meeting in Sokoto State as part of its ongoing commitment to conflict prevention, social cohesion, and the promotion of the rule of law through compassion. The engagement brought together key community stakeholders, including traditional voices, youth representatives, women leaders, and local influencers, to openly discuss pressing tensions and practical pathways to lasting peace.
The meeting created a safe space for dialogue, helping participants identify root causes of disputes, reduce misinformation, and rebuild trust across groups. Beyond conversation, the session encouraged non-violent conflict resolution, community accountability, and early-warning cooperation—steps that can prevent minor disagreements from escalating into broader crises.
Participants reported renewed willingness to collaborate and a stronger shared responsibility for protecting lives and livelihoods. The Foundation emphasized that peace is not a one-time event but a continuous process supported by empathy, justice, and community partnership.
The outcome is already visible: stronger relationships, clearer communication channels, and a community more united in choosing peace over conflict.
